The World Food Programme says if the security situation in Haiti is not resolved soon it will run out of food in the coming weeks. Briefing reporters in New York on Tuesday, the WFP’s Jean-Martin Bauer said that four million people in the Caribbean state remain food insecure. Haiti’s Prime Minister Ariel Henry has meanwhile announced he will step down from his position as violence intensifies. Jody Jacobs reports from the United Nations in New York.
