US inflation rose unexpectedly last month

US inflation rose unexpectedly last month, largely driven by a rise in gas prices. It’s the latest data to suggest inflation remains a problem – at a time when the Federal Reserve is considering the possibility of interest rate cuts later this year. Nick Harper reports.
