President Nangolo Mbumba stated on Friday that the Namibian government will continue to foster stronger partnerships with nations and institutions to enhance skills and expertise within the country. Speaking at the traditional New Year’s greeting to diplomats at State House, Mbumba emphasized the government’s commitment to attracting investments in key sectors such as agriculture, mining, and green hydrogen. Earlier that day, Mbumba received letters of credence from new heads of mission designates, including Abdelkrim Diaf for Algeria and Phemelo Mbi Rankoro for Botswana, further highlighting Namibia’s dedication to maintaining diplomatic relations and fostering international cooperation.
