Namibian delegation to attend 148th Inter-Parliamentary Union assembly

Speaker of the National Assembly, Dr. Peter Katjavivi, will lead a delegation of members of parliament to attend the 148th Inter-Parliamentary Union assembly in Geneva, Switzerland from 23 to 27 March. While there, members are expected to participate in meetings of IPU statutory bodies, such as the governing council and standing committees ranging from the human rights of parliamentarians to what parliamentary action to take regarding the protracted conflict in Gaza, as well as the forum of women parliamentarians and the forum of young members of parliament.
