Namibia Applauds UN Security Council Resolution for Ceasefire in Gaza

Namibia has expressed its satisfaction with the adoption of Resolution 2728 by the United Nations Security Council on Monday. The resolution calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan and urges the release of all hostages. In a media statement released yesterday, Penda Naanda, Executive Director in the Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation, emphasized that the resolution brings relief to the people of Gaza, who have endured relentless attacks on their homes, schools, hospitals, and places of worship, resulting in the loss of thousands of Palestinian lives.
