NSA Data Shows Fish Tops Namibia’s Export List in February

Recent data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency reveals that fish was the most exported commodity in February 2024, constituting 22.5% of the country’s total export of goods. According to the Namibia Merchandise Trade Statistics Bulletin, fish was predominantly exported to Spain, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Zambia. Non-monetary gold ranked second, representing 17.6% of total exports, with all exports directed to South Africa. Copper and articles of copper ranked third, contributing 15.1% of total exports, primarily destined for Belgium, with a portion being re-exported.
