The Namibian Police Force in the Erongo Region has launched an investigation into a distressing case of baby dumping following the discovery of a newborn baby boy’s lifeless body at a dumping site in Walvis Bay. The grim find was made on Wednesday morning by an employee of a local subcontractor company responsible for managing waste disposal in the area. Upon finding the baby among the bushes at the dumping site, the employee promptly informed the site owner, who in turn alerted the authorities. Subsequently, the baby’s body was transported to the Walvis Bay State Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
