President Nangolo Mbumba has characterized the emerging renewable energy sector as the third significant era of development for the town of Lüderitz, suggesting its potential to bolster economic independence for the nation. The town’s first renaissance dawned with the discovery of diamonds in 1908, succeeded by the growth of the fishing industry post-independence. Addressing stakeholders during a meeting held yesterday, Mbumba emphasized the pivotal role of economic development, the enforcement of laws, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders in fostering peace and stability within a country.
