Total solar eclipse wows Americans

In past moments, North America has experienced a once-in-a-lifetime event: a full solar eclipse — a rarity over a continuous stretch of land. It was the first time in hundreds of years that the phenomenon passed over huge swathes of the continent. Our US correspondent Benji Hyer was watching the historic astronomical occurrence.
