Leaders of U.S. and Japan announce new defence, space and tech deals

U.S. President Joseph Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio said the alliance between their countries is critical for the Indo-Pacific and the world after meetings at the White House. Japan is gifting 250 cherry blossom trees to the US ahead of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. – at a time at which US-Japan relations are as strong as ever. Caroline Malone reports.
