Having served as a senior civil servant and consulting engineer, Negonga made the decision to step down from his position as the Director of Maintenance at the Oshana Regional Council to focus on his burgeoning business ventures and political pursuits. Negonga highlighted his comprehensive experience spanning both private and public sectors, asserting that his diverse background uniquely equips him to advocate for Namibians. He emphasized his capacity to directly engage with business leaders and investors, aiming to bridge communication gaps without the need for intermediary interpretations.
