S.A’s Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse says the government has failed to admit to its shortcomings related to e-tolls. After its establishment in 2013 as part of the Gauteng Freeway Improvement Project, e-tolls will officially be scrapped at midnight. However, motorists will be held liable for paying their outstanding e-toll bills. Outa CEO, Wayne Duvenage, says it is clear that the introduction of the e-toll system was grossly irrational.
