A tragic incident occurred at Omanoakambungu village in the Oshikoto region’s Olukonda constituency, resulting in the immediate death of a 62-year-old Namibian man who lost control of the vehicle he was driving. Deputy Commissioner Titus Ekandjo, the Namibian Police Force Oshikoto Regional Crime Investigation Coordinator says the deceased, identified as Uukelo Tomas from Onakandi village in the Oshipala area, was driving a white Toyota double cab pick-up with a WIndhoek registration number from Olukonda to Oshipala when he lost control of the vehicle at a curve, causing it to overturn. Tomas died at the scene, while the two other occupants, aged 71 and 69, sustained injuries and were transported to Onandjokwe State Hospital for medical treatment.
