Fatal Road Accident Claims Life of 39-Year-Old Pedestrian in Namibia

A tragic incident occurred at Oshuushe village in the Oshana Region, resulting in the instantaneous death of a 39-year-old man who was reportedly struck by a vehicle while crossing the road. Chief Inspector Thomas Aiyambo of the Namibian Police Force Oshana Community Policing Sub-division provided details, stating that the incident occurred on the Ondangwa-Oshikango main road during the early hours of Sunday. According to Aiyambo, the driver of a silver Polo, whose registration remains unknown, was traveling from Oshikango towards Ondangwa when the collision with the pedestrian, identified as Paulus Lumbu from Oshuushe village, transpired. The deceased’s next of kin have been notified.
