South Africa’s health regulator has declared the recall of several batches of Johnson & Johnson’s children’s cough syrup due to the discovery of heightened levels of diethylene glycol. These affected batches were distributed across South Africa, Eswatini, Rwanda, Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria.
