The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology has earmarked N$19 million for the operations of the Information Commission, aligning with the forthcoming implementation of the Access to Information Act which is set to tackle key concerns regarding government transparency and citizen access to vital information for decision-making and socioeconomic development. The Access to Information Act is poised to address critical issues surrounding government transparency and citizen empowerment with information critical for decision-making and of socioeconomic value.
