Bannerman Mining Resources Begins Construction at Etango Uranium Project

Bannerman Mining Resources Namibia has initiated construction at its flagship project, the Etango Uranium Project, following the issuance of a mining license by the Ministry of Mines and Energy in December 2023. Bannerman Managing Director Werner Ewald announced that construction activities have commenced, with mining operations slated to begin in 2027. The company has awarded contracts for essential infrastructure, including a pipeline and access road, and aims to secure funding from investors for the N$7 billion project cost.
