Diplomatic efforts intensify as Israel threatens retaliation

Diplomatic efforts are ongoing in a bid to calm the situation in the Middle East, as Israel weighs its response to Saturday’s unprecedented missile and drone attack by Iran.

There’s fear that any Israeli retaliation could cause a wider regional conflict, with Iran’s President threatening a harsh response to any attack, amid reports Israel’s war cabinet has already approved several measures.
