European Union Launches Early Childhood Development Reform in Namibia

The European Union Delegation to Namibia inaugurated an Early Childhood Development Reform Programme at the Harmony ECD Centre in the Mix settlement on the outskirts of Windhoek on Wednesday. This initiative, a flagship EU program, focuses on enhancing early childhood development and pre-primary education to foster a well-educated and skilled society in Namibia. Ana Martins, EU Ambassador to Namibia, emphasized the pressing need for improved access to ECD and pre-primary education, noting that fewer than 25 percent of children aged three to four years currently have such access.
