Google has fired 28 employees for protesting the company’s $1.2 billion contract with the Israeli government to provide cloud and artificial intelligence services. The search engine giant called the protests on Google property “unacceptable” while protest organizers accused Google of firing workers “indiscriminately”. Ira Spitzer reports from San Francisco.
