Oshikuku Town Council Allocates 23 Residential Plots to Shack Dwellers Federation Beneficiaries

The Oshikuku Town Council recently distributed 23 residential plots to beneficiaries of the Shack Dwellers Federation of Namibia as part of their ongoing efforts to tackle the housing shortage in the area. Speaking at the handover ceremony, Town Mayor Julia Endjambi reiterated the council’s dedication to providing affordable land to individuals with ultra and low incomes. She emphasized that a portion of land allocations by the council are consistently reserved for programs like the Build Together Programme and SDFN beneficiaries. Endjambi noted that this latest allocation brings the total number of plots allocated to SDFN to 62.
