Otjiwarongo Municipality Faces Leadership Vacuum as Top Executives Resign

The Otjiwarongo Municipality is set to operate without key strategic executives, including a chief executive officer, effective Friday, following the resignation or early retirement of all its top five executives. This information was disclosed by Godhardt Hoko, chairperson of the management committee. The departures of these executives occurred between March 2023 and April 2024, leaving critical positions such as CEO, strategic executive for finance, human resources, technical, and community and economic development services vacant.
