Man Arrested for Allegedly Murdering Ex-Girlfriend in Kavango East

Police in the Kavango East Region apprehended a 28-year-old man suspected of murdering his 21-year-old ex-girlfriend at Kehemu residential area. The incident reportedly occurred after an argument over a text message, during which the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife, leaving behind their three-year-old son and the murder weapon. The victim died instantly. Acting Regional Commander of the Namibian Police Force, Deputy Commissioner Eino Nambahu, stated that the suspect is scheduled to appear in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court today as investigations continue.
