Newborn Baby’s Remains Found in Plastic Bag in Omusati with Investigation Underway

The police in Omusati are currently looking into a case involving the discovery of a newborn baby’s remains in a plastic bag at an unserviced plot in Oshikuku. According to Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, community members stumbled upon the gruesome scene when they noticed pigs eating from the bag, prompting them to investigate further. Upon closer inspection, they found scattered bones and bloodstained baby clothes. The authorities have transferred the infant’s remains to the Okahao Police Station mortuary as investigations persist.
