S.A’s MK Party to March on Electoral Commission To Demand Removal of Commissioner Amid Zuma List Controversy

The MK-party in S.A says it plans to march to the Electoral Commission's offices in Centurion on Friday. The country's Electoral Commission last week turned to the Constitutional Court in a bid to try and keep former president Jacob Zuma off the party's parliamentary list. MK spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndhlela says they want IEC commissioner Janet Love removed, citing allegations of bias and misconduct:

S.A’s Border Management Authority Halts 281,000 Illegal Entries During Easter

The Commissioner of the S.A Border Management Authority, Michael Masiapato, reports that during the Easter period, their operations intercepted and prevented over 281,000 individuals from illegally entering South Africa through its 71 ports of entry. Masiapato highlights a decline in the use of conveyancers transporting illegal migrants, while also mentioning the issuance of eight penalties totaling 270,000 rand to bus companies caught ferrying illegal migrants.
