U.S unemployment claims hit highest level since August

Background

The U.S economy has seen the highest number of unemployment claims since last August. The Federal Reserve has been trying to dampen hiring in an effort to get inflation under control, but the latest weekly figures may raise fears of an increased level of layoffs. Nick Harper reports from Washington.
