University of Science and Technology Probes Sexual Harassment Claims Against Senior Academic

The Namibia University of Science and Technology is currently investigating allegations of sexual harassment against a senior lecturer. According to a source within the university’s human resources office, reports from multiple students were received several months ago, with the most recent incident allegedly occurring last month. The lecturerwas reportedly escorted from campus by NUST security guards, carrying a mattress. John Haufiku, NUST’s spokesperson, confirmed ongoing investigations adding that they cannot comment on the allegations at this time due to the ongoing investigations.
