Oshikoto Regional Councillors Press ECN to Rectify Omission of Registration Points

During an Electoral Commission stakeholder engagement in Omuthiya, Oshikoto regional councillors voiced concerns over the omission of 13 registration points across various constituencies. They urged the ECN to address this issue, emphasizing the potential voter disenfranchisement due to distant registration locations. Councillors highlighted discrepancies in registration point information and stressed the need for proper engagement with current representatives. ECN assured that the concerns would be incorporated into the provisional voter register to be released in August, while advising stakeholders to consult Home Affairs regarding identification documents.
