A 14-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by her two uncles in the Omusati Region

The Namibian Police Force Omusati Regional Commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson on Wednesday said an alleged rape incident of a 14 year-old girl occurred between 06 and 08 May at Etunda village in the Ruacana Constituency. According to Basson, it is alleged that two suspects, who are both uncles to the victim, entered her room while she was asleep during the night. He added that one suspect allegedly held the victim’s arms and threatened her with a knife while the other man covered her mouth with his hand and raped her. The other suspect allegedly also raped her afterwards.
