President Nangolo Mbumba led Namibia’s delegation at the World Hydrogen 2024 Summit and Exhibition in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Namibia is progressing with plans to establish an ammonia bunkering hub and a green hydrogen-powered train to reduce emissions in shipping and logistics. President Mbumba says these initiatives will minimise scope 2 and scope 3 emissions from goods and commodities transported via Namibia’s ports. He commended the government’s efforts through the Green Hydrogen Council to position Namibia as a global leader in green hydrogen and its impact on various industries.
