ECN Prepares for General Elections: Training of Registration Officials Underway

The Electoral Commission of Namibia is actively preparing for the upcoming general elections slated for November 27, in the Kavango East Region. Training sessions for 180 registration officials are underway, with 132 to be deployed across the region. Additionally, six constituency supervisors and six regional logistics officers have been appointed. Voter and civic education efforts began in April and will continue until June 30, 2024. Stakeholders are urged to assist in educating citizens on the importance of voter registration, which will run from June 3 to August 1st.
