Gauteng ANC Youth League Urges Police Crackdown on Community Disruptions

The ANC Youth League in Gauteng is calling on the police to be more decisive in dealing with criminals who continue to disrupt communities’ social order. The youth league and Soshanguve residents marched to the police station yesterday, where they demonstrated against the recent increase in crime. This was sparked by the murder of five-year-old Ditebogo Phalane last week Friday. League president, Collen Malatji, says they are demanding 24-hour visible policing.
