Namibia Welcomes Back Security Contingent from Mozambique Mission

International Relations and Cooperation minister, Peya Mushelenga, expressed gratitude for the safe return of an 18-member security contingent from the Namibia-SADC mission in Cabo Delgado, Mozambique. The deployment, part of the SADC Mission in Mozambiqu, aimed to combat Islamic insurgents, showcasing Namibia’s commitment to regional peace and security. Despite challenges, Mushelenga emphasized the importance of such contributions in upholding Namibia’s foreign policy priorities.
