Independent presidential candidate, Ally Angula has stated that she will not support same-sex marriages if elected in this year’s Presidential and National Assembly elections. During an appearance on Desert Radio, Angula expressed her views on the rights of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex community. She adds that marriage should have an element of reproduction. Underscoring that reproduction comes from a woman who has a womb and a man who has sperm. Angula aligns with McHenry Venaani of the Popular Democratic Movement, another presidential hopeful, who has also declared his opposition to same-sex marriage.
