Brothers Denied Bail in Bethanie Murder Case

38 year-old Erick Elian Isaacks and Frans Booysen who’s 43, appeared in Bethanie Magistrate’s Court accused of murdering 28-year-old Silvanus Rooi. Denied bail, their case was postponed to June 3 for further investigation. Detective Chief Inspector Jochobetha Angukku stated the brothers allegedly stabbed Rooi during an altercation at a local bar on Saturday evening. The incident followed a previous argument the night before. The police suspect Booysen’s significant involvement and believe Rooi was associated with the Keetmanshoop hosh-hosh gang.
