Urban Minister Commends Seafarers Federation for Housing Initiative at Walvis Bay

Urban and Rural Development Minister, Erastus Uutoni, commended the Seafarers United Land Housing Federation for their work in alleviating poverty and addressing housing issues in Walvis Bay. Founded in 2021, the federation focuses on creating housing solutions for fishermen by acquiring and developing municipal land. During a fundraising gala, Uutoni highlighted the importance of decent housing as a national right and recognized the federation’s efforts in providing hope and better living conditions.
