India PM Modi re-elected to seat in Hindu holy city: election commission

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was re-elected Tuesday to represent the constituency of Varanasi, election commission figures showed, marking his third victory in the Hindu holy city.

The election commission declared Modi elected with 612,970 votes, more than 152,000 ahead of the nearest of his six rivals.
