AfriForum In S.A Files Urgent High Court Application Against National Energy Regulator

The civil rights organisation AfriForum in South African has brought an urgent application in the High Court in Pretoria against the National Energy Regulator. The application seeks to prevent NERSA from considering municipalities’ applications for electricity tariff increases from 1 July without the required cost studies.
