The main hospital in Sudan’s al-Fashir city has been attacked by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces and rendered inoperative, according to Doctors Without Borders, which supports the facility. Al-Fashir, located in the Darfur region of northwestern Sudan, is home to over 1.8 million residents and displaced people. This attack marks the latest escalation in the conflict between the Sudanese army and the RSF, which began in April last year.
