Preparations Begin for Heroes’ Day in Omuthiya

The preparatory committee for this year’s Heroes’ Day, to be held in Omuthiya, Oshikoto, met for the first time. Chaired by Regional Governor, Penda Ya Ndakolo, the meeting addressed directives from President Nangolo Mbumba. Ndakolo acknowledged past disappointments over venue relocations and expressed gratitude for this new opportunity. He encouraged public participation. Samuel Shivute, Chairperson of the Oshikoto Regional Council, urged the committee to remain committed, emphasizing the importance of effective communication and consultation for the event’s success.
