15-year-old girl was allegedly raped on various occasions over several months

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped on various occasions over several months by her 40-year-old uncle at Ouma village in the Omusati Region. NamPol’s Crime Investigations Coordinator for Omusati, Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, said the incidents allegedly occurred between 2023 and 20 May this. The matter was only recently reported to the police. It is alleged that the suspect, who is an uncle to the victim and lives in the same house, had sexual intercourse with the victim on different occasions.
