Correctional Service To Release 2,228 Inmates Following Presidential Pardon

The Correctional Service Deputy Commissioner General, Sam Shaalulange announced in Windhoek that 2,228 inmates will be released under a presidential pardon granted by President Nangolo Mbumba. The pardon applies to non-serious offenders serving sentences for non-scheduled offenses, with conditional release on full parole approved by March 21.
