Justice Minister Reaffirms Support for Palestine at International Court of Justice

Justice minister, Yvonne Dausab in an oral submission reaffirmed Namibia’s participation at the International Court of Justice in support of Palestine against its illegal occupation by Israel. During a speech at the Information and Communication Technology ministry Government Information Centre, she emphasised the importance of the involvement by the Namibian nation in the ICJ. Dausab added that on February 2023, Namibia made all submissions to the ICJ through the Minister of Justice concerning the advisory opinion on the legal consequences arising from the policies and practices of Israel in the occupied territory including East Jerusalem.
