Namibia and Botswana have launched the Civil-Military Cooperation Plan to enhance border security and cooperation. The initiative, involving the Namibian and Botswana Defence Forces, focuses on combating smuggling, poaching, and illegal border activities. In addition, it also aims to involve community leaders and improve local livelihoods, with sensitisation campaigns scheduled for July and August.
