UN Assembly President in Namibia for summit preparations

The President of the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Dennis Francis, is visiting Namibia from today until Friday. The visit prepares for Namibia and Germany’s co-hosting of the Summit of the Future in September. It also forms part of Francis’s outreach efforts to various UN member states to stress the urgent need to speed up the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
