Namibian Journalist Wensel Mavara Appointed TVET Commissioner in China

A local journalist, Wensel Mavara, has been appointed as the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Commissioner in China. The announcement was made by the Shandong Foreign Trade Vocational College in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, during a seminar on Press Officers and Journalists of BRI countries. Mavara, formerly a Special Assistant to late President Hage Geingob, expressed his commitment to strengthening educational ties between Namibia and China, emphasizing the opportunity to learn from China’s rapid development.
