Telkom S.A Reports Strong Financial Performance Driven by Mobile and Fibre Sectors

Telkom, South Africa’s third-largest mobile operator, has announced robust performance in its mobile and fibre sectors, leading to increased operating profits and margins for 2024. The company reported a 1.6% rise in group revenue to 43.2 billion rand, with core profit up by over 5% to 10 billion rand. Management expressed optimism about paying dividends by 2025, citing their digital infrastructure and ICT capabilities as key drivers for sustainable growth.
