UNHCR Ipsos poll shows strong support for refugees

Attitudes towards refugees are hardening in some Western countries, however, a survey on attitudes towards refugees across the Global North and South shows that three-quarters of adults continue to believe that those fleeing war or persecution should be able to seek safety in other countries. The findings of the survey conducted by Ipsos – one of the world’s leading market research companies – are released just ahead of World Refugee Day on 20 June.
