Egypt Accused of Unlawful Deportations of Sudanese Refugees

Reuters reports that Egypt has conducted mass arrests and unlawful deportations of thousands of refugees fleeing the war in Sudan, according to an Amnesty International report released on Wednesday. The rights group documented 12 incidents between January and March this year, where Egyptian authorities deported approximately 800 Sudanese nationals without allowing them to seek asylum or contest deportation decisions.
