Kenya’s President William Ruto has expressed willingness to engage in dialogue with thousands of young, peaceful anti-tax protesters following widespread demonstrations organized mainly through social media. Speaking at a church service in Nyahururu, Ruto acknowledged the youth-led nature of the protests and commended the demonstrators for their peaceful conduct, despite reports of fatalities during earlier protests in Nairobi.
